About The Book:
Katie: The Little Girl Who Stuttered and Learned to Talk Fluently is an engaging, true story about a smart, vivacious young girl who wants to overcome her stuttering and speak fluently. Katie’s stuttered speech causes her daily frustration and embarrassment. The way she talks inhibits her ability to freely share her thoughts and feelings, while she endures teasing from other children. The only time she finds solace is when she escapes to a nearby park where she loves to play hide and seek. Yet, this all changes when Katie and her mother learn about a special stuttering treatment that is based on science.

Breeze's Review
(Between The Pages Guest Reviewer)
This book is a story designed to help both children who have a stutter and the parents of a child who stutters. It helps children to see that stuttering isn't their fault and that they can learn how to speak without stuttering. I enjoyed the fact that book was written in a way that children can feel as though they are not alone and they can have help to overcome stuttering. This book would also equally appeal to parents because it allows them to hear directly from a doctor that there is a way to correct the issue of stuttering. The story was well illustrated and well written. I give this book Four Stars!
