About The Book:
He's not her brother, but Duncan thinks Catherine sure needs one. A woman has no business trying to run a ranch. Not in 1880s Creede, Colorado. Even though she's loved him forever, she swears she doesn't need his help, but in between stampedes, fires and a kidnapping, the ex-bounty hunter and gunslinger becomes determined to do more than protect the ranch. Working together to catch a dangerous outlaw might just be the best thing that ever happened to them both.

Lynda's Review:
~ Marriage, ha! If it was up to her they'd have a business arrangement. She was everything he didn't like in a woman. Independent, opinionated, a damned hellcat. She was...his.~ Page 53

This enjoyable romantic western is set in Colorado in the 1880's. A perfect place and time to face-off a handsome ex-bounty hunter with a manipulative father and his feisty daughter. After several years of separation and hurt feelings, Duncan and Catherine have no choice but to partner-up. Catherine doesn't like the twist and turns her life is taking and isn't timid about letting the men in her life know about it. The story line is briskly written with great dialogue that makes it easy to warm up to these characters. Author Cynthia Woolf expands the depth of the story with interesting secondary characters that also capture the heat of this reader.
